Holding a Training Course and Signing a Memorandum of Understanding between Lorestan University's APA Center and the General Security Office of the Province

Lorestan University's APA Center, in collaboration with the General Department of Communications and Information Technology of Lorestan, held a training course on "Security of Information Production and Exchange Space" for security managers and IT experts of the province's departments.
The one-day training course on "Security of Information Production and Exchange Space" was held in the amphitheater hall of the Faculty of Basic Sciences of Lorestan University on Monday, December 11th, with the presence of security managers of the province's departments and IT experts of departments and executive agencies of the province, by the Specialized APA Center of Lorestan University and in cooperation with the General Department of Communications and Information Technology of Lorestan and the General Security of the province.
Explaining the actions of the Cyber Headquarters, holding three educational and specialized workshops, as well as unveiling and introducing the completely indigenous ISMS product were among the other programs of this training course.
Dr. Mojtaba Alizadeh, Head of the APA Center of Lorestan University, while explaining the reasons for the formation of APA centers in the world and presenting the history of these centers inside the country, presented the most important services of this center in the province as providing preventive services, quality security management services, and services for responding to cyber security incidents.
He, while explaining cyber security and its necessities, pointed to incidents, events, security threats and ways to deal with these threats, and considered observing individual and organizational security points as important points in dealing with threats.
Three training workshops were also held with the titles of cyber space security and its necessity, the national information network and the actions of the government in the field of information security, and the introduction of ISMS and the necessity of its implementation in organizations, for security managers and IT experts of the province's executive agencies.
Also, in order to synergize and use various scientific, research, technological, equipment, and laboratory capacities, as well as to achieve goals and carry out organizational missions, a cooperation agreement was signed between the General Security of the province and the APA Center of Lorestan University.
The memorandum of understanding was signed by Saremi, Head of the Information Technology Committee of the General Security of the province, and Dr. Alizadeh, Head of the APA Center of Lorestan University.
This memorandum of understanding has been prepared in 5 clauses and 2 copies with the subject of providing the grounds for joint research, technology, technical and specialized services in the field of security of information production and exchange space, taking into account all the facilities, capabilities and capacities of the parties, including scientific and specialized, human resources and equipment.
Another goal of the memorandum of understanding is to empower and increase the level of awareness and knowledge of security managers and IT experts of the province's executive agencies in the field of information technology and security of information production and exchange space.
